I have some updating to do.
I just reread the blog and I can't believe how much time I wasted on the Greek.
And I think I'll be down in weight tomorrow even though I feel gross and bloated today.
And nothing ever happened again with friend's brother that I kissed some time ago. I saw him again a few weeks later (about a month ago) and we chatted for a minute but I was on his pay no mind list.
No biggie.
So I've been chatting back and forth with a few guys lately and it all came to a point where we decided to meet in person (one I've been ignoring and will have no mention here).
We'll start with Teacher, who is well, a teacher. He seemed fun and positive and all that good stuff. He looked tall, and thin which is my type, but with blond hair. But not bad looking. So we've been trying to get it together and were unsuccessful, but laughing about it. We finally decide to go for a drink on Monday at a local/casual bar near his house. Oh he's 35. He was definitely cuter in person. I'm not crazy attracted to him, but it's better than the complete unattraction I've had towards everyone else.
He talked a lot, but it was good because he had fun stories to tell. He loves his job which is nice to see, and is pretty successful (writing programs for a new school). He as a few siblings, and seems to have a decent social life. I had a bad headache at first so I was kind of quiet. I was worried I was giving a bad impression... plus he had all these great stories and I'm like WTF should I talk about. But I warmed up and it was fun. We had a couple of beers each (and sampled each others which I thought was nice). He insisted on paying which I thought was nice. There were some hints that we would go out again, but nothing was said outright.
He wound up texting me the next night saying we should go out again. No set plan. He's in Virginia on a class trip until tomorrow I think. So far he has the most promise. I think.
Now on to the Farmer. He is not actually a farmer, but his grandparents own one and he wants to live there. Imagine me living on a farm? LOL. He lives somewhere in the burbs (outside of my city might as well be foreign land). He drove to my hood which I thought was nice. We had some nice conversation outside of a bar. He seemed like a really nice guy. Not bad looking. Not as cute as in his pics (shaved head, but kind of balding and a cracked tooth - but not bad). He writes computer software and is really into motor cross. It was fun, but again no spark. No spark with Teacher either but at least I have a tiny bit of desire to go out with him again. He seems fun.
I know I said a second date was always good, but I'm tired. I don't know if I'll see Farmer again.
